Tired legs or not good on your feet? No problem: The slow train 'Ameisenexpress' takes you in 20 minutes to the rustic Edtalmhütte, where a delicious snack awaits you. Return to the mountain station of the Hornbahn Russbach on foot or again with the slow train.
During the ride you can watch alpine cows and horses, guess the names of the mountain peaks and enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama from the Dachstein, Gosaukamm to the Tennengebirge in Salzburg Land.

If we do not receive the group registration the day before, we unfortunately cannot guarantee a place on our slow train!

The Alpine Garden is located right next to the mountain station of the Hornbahn in Russbach. There you can learn a lot of new things about alpine nature and insights into the Dachstein West area in an understandable way.
