Fine-tuning for the Night Races and the World Championships in Saalbach: at the end of January, before the races in Schladming, ski star Henrik Kristoffersen and his team from Van Deer Red Bull Sports made a short stopover in Dachstein West.
Precise turns, absolute control and an irrepressible fighting spirit - it is precisely these qualities that make Henrik Kristoffersen one of the best slalom and giant slalom skiers of our time. But what is behind this impressive performance? Excellent training - and not just on the race slopes of the World Cups, but also here in Dachstein West!
Shortly before the legendary Night Races in Schladming, Kristoffersen and his Van Deer team used the piste conditions in Dachstein West for his training. The well-prepared slopes offer ideal conditions for fine-tuning technique, timing and equipment - essential for fine-tuning before the big races.
However, the training in Dachstein West was not only used as preparation for the night races on the famous Planai slope. The upcoming World Ski Championships in Saalbach are also on the programme for the Norwegian - a highlight of the season for which every turn must be perfect.
