The panoramic hike along the Gosaukamm is a sporty experience. Mountain hiking guide Maggie Oberauer accompanies the group on the Austriasteig trail and provides insights into the surrounding mountains.

In summer, history lovers have the opportunity to hike in the footsteps of Empress Sisi. The group is accompanied by a hiking guide via the Riedlkar to the Zwieselalmhütte.

Join us on a wonderful guided hike along the Gosaukamm.

Tour facts:

  • from June 30, 2025 until September 09, 2025, every Monday, during the opening hours of the Donnerkogelbahn cable car

  • Meeting point: 9:00 am, Donnerkogelbahn valley station

  • Elevation gain: 300 m uphill, approx. 900 m downhill

  • Duration: approx. 3 hours

  • Partly alpine trail: sure-footedness and good footwear required

  • Refreshment stops: Stuhlalm, Theodor Körner hut

  • Minimum number of participants: 4 adults

Guided tour: Sisi hike

We take you into the breathtaking mountain world of Dachstein West and hike with you in the footsteps of Empress Sisi.

Tour facts:

  • from 29.06.2025, every Thursday until 07.09.2025

  • Meeting point: 9:45 am Donnerkogelbahn valley station, ascent with the cable car at 10 am

  • Visit to the Sisi Room (only possible as part of this tour)

  • Return journey by hiking cab from Gosau at 4:30 pm
