Key Facts

  • The use of the ski touring route is subject to a fee and is only possible when the Russbach valley run is open.

  • No user fee for holders of Dachstein West day, multiday and season tickets.

The day ticket is available at the ticket machine, at the Onlineshop or at the ticket offices in Russbach and Annaberg.

Cash payment is not possible at the ticket machine, ATM & credit cards with NFC function are accepted. The season and day tickets are available at the ticket offices and in our Onlineshop.

Atomic Touring Experience Center

In the Atomic Touring Experience Center, adults as well as children and young people can rent the ski models of the season and test them out on site.

Opening hours 2024/25:
Tuesday to Sunday - 08:30am to 01:00pm

Outside opening hours:
Monday to Sunday, touring equipment can be rented or returned at Checkpoint Sports on the 1st floor (08:30am to 5:00pm)

Ski Touring Charity

Back on the programme this winter - the Dachstein West Ski Touring Charity in Russbach! For all outdoor fans, the Dachstein West ski region invites you to the fourth big ski touring charity event in Russbach, Dachstein West.

Dear piste tourers,
for your safety, the following rules must be observed!
  • The ascent must be made via the specified ascent route and is permitted daily between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm - Thursday evening open until 7 pm. Piste closed from 8 pm (possible from 9th January)

  • The use of all other ski runs is forbidden to skiers and in any case they are closed from 5:00 pm to 8:30 am. Due to work on the pistes during the time of the closure, there is a danger to life in case of illegal use!

  • The closure of the pistes is regulated by an ordinance of the municipality of Russbach in accordance with § 30 of the state safety law.

  • Outside the above-mentioned opening hours, it is forbidden to ascend, ski on and enter the slopes. The ascent path may not be used for downhill skiing and the ascent and descent are not illuminated. Use a headlamp.

  • he pistes may only be crossed at the marked points with sufficient distance between them.

  • Dogs are not allowed on either the ascent or descent.

  • A fee of EUR 12.50 per person and day is payable for the ascent and use of infrastructure such as the pistes, car park, guidance system etc. (No user fee for holders of Dachstein West day, multi-day and season tickets!). All tickets must be validated at the reader and are not transferable.

  • The ticket machine only recognises bankomat & credit cards with NFC function. The ticket must be carried on the ascent as checks are carried out on the slopes.
